1. Who we are

MetricPro (“MetricPro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the MetricPro Fitness and Performance application and website at metricpro.com.br. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our services.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and profile settings you provide.
• Training data: activities you create manually or that are imported from connected services (sport type, distance, duration, heart rate, pace, power, elevation, calories, notes, and related metrics).
• Goal and zones: race goals and training zones (e.g., max heart rate, FTP, swim CSS).
• Connection data: tokens and identifiers needed to link third-party accounts (such as Strava, Polar, or Apple Health), used only to sync data you authorize. Garmin Connect integration is planned and not available until provider approval.
• Technical data: basic logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) required for security and reliability.

3. Connected services

When you choose to connect a supported provider (for example Strava, Polar, or Apple Health), we access activity and related fitness data only after you grant explicit consent through that provider’s authorization flow (e.g., OAuth). We use that data to display and analyze your training inside MetricPro.

Garmin Connect is not offered in the product yet. If and when MetricPro is approved for Garmin’s developer program, the same consent-based rules will apply: we will access Garmin data only after you authorize the connection, and you may disconnect at any time.

You may disconnect a provider at any time in the app. Disconnecting stops future syncs; previously imported activities remain in your MetricPro account until you delete them or request erasure.

Third-party services have their own privacy policies (including Garmin’s, independently of MetricPro).

4. How we use data

• Provide, maintain, and improve the MetricPro product
• Sync and display training activities and metrics
• Personalize training views (goals, zones, race countdown)
• Secure the service and prevent abuse
• Respond to support and privacy requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use connected fitness data for unrelated advertising.

5. Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location (including Brazil’s LGPD and, where applicable, GDPR), we process data based on: performance of a contract (providing the app), your consent (especially for third-party connections), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and legal obligations.

6. Sharing

We may share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers that host or process data on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting), under confidentiality and data-processing terms
• Authorities when required by law
• Professional advisors when necessary to protect our legal rights

Connected providers receive only what is needed to complete authorization and sync that you initiate.

7. Retention

We retain personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We may retain limited records when required by law or for legitimate security purposes.

8. Security

We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to protect your data continuously.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, contact scorcine@metricpro.com.br. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).

10. Children

MetricPro is not directed to children under 16. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

11. International transfers

Our infrastructure may process data in servers outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of MetricPro after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
